世界中の化学物質のうち繊維の生産に使用される割合は25％と言われています。中には発ガン性やアレルギーを誘発するような体に有害な物質が生産段階で含まれる可能性もあります。染料や助剤を始めとする生産時に欠かせない化学薬剤は多岐にわたります。

It is said that 25% of chemical substances out of those from around the world are used in the production of textiles. Among them, physically-harmful substances, such as carcinogens and allergens, may be contained in the production process. Chemical agents that are indispensable to the production process are wide-ranging, including dyes and auxiliary agents.

Adoption of international safety standards
We have adopted the international standard “ZDHC MRSL VERSION 2.0” that the world’s leading companies have joined as the industry’s strictest “safety standard.” We commission “Nissenken Quality Evaluation Center” (accredited testing institute of OEKO-TEX® with headquarters in Switzerland) in alliance with this Association to conduct reliable quality inspections.
